Although there are still no details as to when it will be approved by the Central Bank, within the sector they say they are open to compete with this regional giant ‘on equal terms’ and dismiss the possibility of a ‘Nubank effect’ as occurred in Brazil, where the digital bank had a successful incursion based on zero commission and competitive rates that allowed it to quickly exceed 100 million customers.

After Pix by approximation, Google Wallet expands features for payments with Pix. Google announced two more ways for this type of transaction: Pix in the Chrome browser and Pix in Lens (the company's object reader). The proposal is to improve the shopping journey of Google Pay users.
Brazil moves closer to holding bitcoin as national reserve. The bill supports the idea of using Bitcoin as a strategic asset, aligning Brazil with the growing global trend of digital reserve diversification. While it still needs further approvals, the move signals a shift in how nations view Bitcoin, as more than just a currency, but a potential store of value at the national level.
InDrive partners with Belvo to facilitate Pix via open finance on its platform. Customers will be able to pay seamlessly with Pix when utilising inDrive’s ride-hailing and delivery services. Working with Belvo, the new feature enables fast, secure, and intuitive Pix transactions, fully embedded within the inDrive app.
Nubank launches automatic Pix, accompanied by intelligent account search. Recurring bill payments can be set up automatically through the app, which will be available to the financial institution's customers starting next Monday (16/6). The new feature comes with a smart search feature.
